Through the use of artificial insemination and embryo transfer we have established a herd of well balanced, highly fertile and structurally sound cattle.

Sires used in our program are selected for ease of calving, high meat quality, marbling, balanced growth and milk figures.

Our cattle are performance recorded. The use of Breedplan EBVs is an important tool in our genetic selection.

We offer clients, many of whom are repeat buyers, a full back up service and guarantee on their selection. We can offer market advice on their progeny through an ever growing network of buyers, producers and processors associated with Bald Ridge.

Herd management at Bald Ridge is of the highest quality. Careful attention is paid to minimising animal stress. We use horses and dogs for all our cattle work.
