Bald Ridge Wagyu was founded on heifers purchased from Takeda Wagyu, based on the famous Japanese Takeda Farm bloodlines.Through the use of artificial insemination and embryo transfer we have established a herd at the leading edge of Wagyu seedstock.
Along with the very important high marbling and carcass quality traits associated with Wagyu cattle, we have selected stock based on the more traditional traits of fertility, structural soundness, temperament and high performance.
Our embryo program is such that we have achieved excellent flushing results that allow us to sell embryos with the latest and best genetics available at reasonable prices.
Herd management at Bald Ridge is of the highest standard with an environmentally friendly approach used in management techniques. Long term sustainability is our goal. Horses and dogs are used to muster in a stress free situation.
