JC RUESHAW 76

 + FOUNDATION BLOODLINES

+ HIGH MARBLING CARCASSES

+ EXCEPTIONAL BONE QUALITY & STRUCTURE

+ FREE FROM GENETIC DISORDERS

This powerful young bull offers an unprecedented opportunity for Wagyu breeders to establish a new full blood line to expand the limited genetic base, as his sire’s genetics are extremely rare among full bloods.  Rueshaw’s semen was so highly prized that 5 straws sold for a record $25,000 at the 2012 Wagyu sale.  First to be registered in the US, Rueshaw was the only Japanese National Champion to leave Japan.

Aside from this unique status, what gives his bloodline great potential is that Rueshaw has no ancestors in common with any of the other imports, many whom are closely related.

His dam is a hefty daughter of Hikari, a mainstay of Heartbrands breeding program. Hikari is a son of Dai 10 Mitsumaru, who was the best marbling red in Japan. Her pedigree includes Judo, who is also very notable for high marbling.

Rueshaw is also known for his bone quality and structure and is tested free of all genetic disorders.

A news flash from the Houston Livestock Show: “This bulls red half-brother, JC Rueshaw 75, ranked number 1 for marbling of the 37 red or black Wagyus in the show in 2014, a result that is rarely seen.”  Scoring an exceptional 9.48 from the marbling ultrasound scans and top honors at the 2014 Houston show.
